The Marketing Operations Specialist works under general direction of the Associate Director of Campus Life Services Strategic Marketing and Communications team. This position provides centralized management and ownership of the day-to-day operations and workflows of Campus Life Services Marketing including end-to-end project management and quality control, primary client communications and contact, daily marketing operations (planning, scheduling, job tracking and trafficking, project updates and milestones, editorial support, brand guardianship), as well as some data analysis (tracking of effectiveness, efficiency, and engagement measures) and customer research.
This position reports to the Associate Director, Strategic Marketing and Communications, and partners closely with Documents & Media (the Marketing production partners), CLS business managers, and UCSF Health Patient Communications Committee to ensure projects are produced effectively in a timely manner, on budget, in alignment with goals, and consistent with the UCSF and UCSF Health visual and editorial brand.
Additionally, the Marketing Operations Specialist will provide assistance with copywriting, editing, and proofreading for UCSF Health patient communications in various media including but not limited to MyChart messages, flyers, posters, patient emails or other patient-facing communications; and support copyediting and proofreading for CLS projects as assigned to ensure quality control. Familiarity and demonstrated experience with the following is preferred: project management software such as Asana or Divvy HQ; design software such as Adobe Suite; Filemaker Pro, and general business software Microsoft Office Suite.
