Seasonal, Part-Time Communications and Partnerships Manager
Santa’s Secret Workshop
Location: Long Island City, Queens / Hybrid
Type: Part-Time, Seasonal
Hours: Approximately up to 40 hours per month
Compensation: $35–$40/hour, based on experience
Santa’s Secret Workshop is seeking a creative, resourceful, and relationship-driven Seasonal, Part-Time Communications and Partnerships Manager to support brand visibility and seasonal growth.
Santa’s Secret Workshop is an immersive holiday experience that blends theatrical storytelling, personalized Santa visits, and professional photography to create meaningful memories for families. Rooted in kindness, imagination, and generosity, the company is building a distinctive seasonal brand centered on connection, care, and unforgettable experiences.
This role is designed for a communications professional who can work efficiently within a limited number of weekly hours and focus on high-impact outreach that builds awareness, strengthens community presence, and supports revenue growth.
The primary mission of this role is to help position Santa’s Secret Workshop as a beloved local holiday tradition and a must-do seasonal experience for families through targeted media outreach, partnership development, influencer engagement, social media support, and email marketing.
This role is ideal for a professional who can identify high-impact opportunities and execute efficiently within a focused part-time schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Media Relations & Publicity
Craft and pitch compelling storylines to local press, parenting blogs, digital publications, and community outlets
Secure features in holiday roundups, family guides, and seasonal “best of” coverage
Build and maintain media relationships that increase awareness and credibility for the brand
Serve as a point person for priority media-related outreach and opportunities
Influencer & Partner Engagement
Identify and recruit local parent influencers, family-focused creators, and community voices aligned with the brand
Coordinate visits, reviews, and content opportunities
Build cross-promotional partnerships with local businesses, schools, family-centered brands, and community organizations
Develop thoughtful partnerships that expand visibility and support audience growth
Social Media Support
Help lead and execute Instagram priorities across Reels, Stories, and posts
Maintain a polished, warm, and consistent brand voice
Monitor engagement and identify opportunities to strengthen storytelling and audience connection
Support content that builds excitement, trust, and seasonal anticipation
Email Marketing
Develop and execute email campaigns to nurture leads, re-engage past families, and convert new audiences
Segment audiences to improve campaign effectiveness
Track performance metrics including opens, clicks, and conversions
Support messaging tied to seasonal campaigns, bookings, and partnerships
Brand Reputation & Community Presence
Help generate positive reviews, testimonials, and goodwill around the brand
Identify opportunities for Santa’s Secret Workshop to engage with local charities, family events, and community initiatives
Support the brand’s reputation as a trusted, joyful, high-quality family experience
Primary Areas of Focus
Media outreach and seasonal publicity
Influencer and local partnership development
Instagram support and brand storytelling
Email campaign support tied to audience growth and bookings
Requirements & Qualifications
3+ years of experience in PR, communications, marketing, partnerships, or a related field
Proven ability to pitch media, secure coverage, and identify strong story angles
Strong understanding of Instagram, content strategy, and audience engagement
Demonstrated success building partnerships and community-based visibility
Excellent writing skills across pitches, press releases, captions, and newsletters
Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple outreach efforts
Able to work effectively in a part-time, seasonal role with clear priorities and focused execution
Experience with family, lifestyle, hospitality, entertainment, or experiential brands is a plus
Ideal Candidate
